(posted 10/20/16, deadline 12/1/16)
The time to submit proposals for the APA 2017 Convention is upon us!
The Convention will take place in Washington, D.C. from August 3-6. We anticipate a lot great presentations at the Convention and are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a keynote lecture by Joshua Gordon, MD, PhD, the new head of NIMH!
Proposals are due Thursday, December 1st at 5 pm EST.
Please note that SCCAP accepts only posters and symposia as programming. If you wish to submit an Individual Paper, Conversation Hour, and/or Skill Building Session, please consider another Division as your sponsor.
When you submit through the online portal, please be sure to indicate that you are submitting to Division 53 (SCCAP). Please also consider applying as a continuing education opportunity – this will boost your attendance!
Full details about how to submit and what to expect in the review process are available here: http://www.apa.org/convention/proposals.aspx?tab=3
Submissions must be made online through the APA portal:
