The Department of Psychology at Louisiana State University invites applicants for a tenure‐track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology beginning Fall 2017.
 
Duties will include teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in clinical psychology, maintaining an active research agenda with regular publications, publishing in top-tier journals in a high-impact area of research, presenting research at conferences and professional meetings, supervising doctoral students, and participating in departmental, college, and university service activities commensurate with rank. The clinical doctoral program at LSU has a long history of supporting faculty who conduct programmatic research in diverse areas of psychopathology leading to high quality publications and substantial grant funding.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Psychology and a sufficient research record to demonstrate the potential to develop a nationally recognized program and attract research funding. ABD candidates who will finish by the time of the appointment will be considered.
 
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with methodological skills, theoretical expertise and/or research interests that complement existing strengths within the clinical area.
 
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  An offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check.
